teamrosemaryandthymei've noticed that since we aren't always online at the same time it's a little difficult for us to get to know each other better, so i decided to make this introduction post!

and then i kept reading it and couldnt stop and neglected a lot of school work until i caught up........
2. how long have you been in the fandom?
for a while i didn't even know there was a fandom! i only knew two people who read it and thought it was more of an "underground" type thing
but then i saw how many other fans there were and all the fanworks that had already been made and whoa boy i haven't even gone through half of them
i think i've been around for at least a year though?? i can't remember exactly when i started reading but it was probably before jack killed john that second time
3. what other fandoms are you/have you been in?
i'm a pretty anime person so webcomic are new territory for me haha
i used to be a big fan of digimon but i wasn't in an actual 'fandom' until middle school when i started reading and writing naruto fanfiction
ahhh i used to be a big zelda person too?? i had a lot of zelda aus and 'fangames'
also danny phantom but i don't want to talk about that one...
4. who is your favorite homestuck character(s)? favorite ships?
i am such a big derse person it is not even funny
i am one of those people who think dave and rose are really great!!
john and jade too but i am kind of really invested in rose/dave/roxy/dirk's character arcs
i also multiship like wild i cannot be satiated by one ship and it usually varies from month to month
some days i will be shipping one thing really intensely and other days i don't even want to see it on my dash at all i can be really finicky...
i'm more fond of kid/kid ships or kid/troll ships than troll/troll ships though because i don't sympathize with the troll characters as well as the humans

i am a pretty okay writer!! and a not as okay artist but i can do some simple stuff
i will most likely be focusing a lot of my efforts on writing fanfiction for the main rounds

i hope other people will share some stuff i am kind of a hypocrite...

as for that other stuff- i live on the west coast so i go by pacific standard time (PST)

my utmost favorite kid is john, and favorite troll is sollux. most notable favorite ships are jadedave, johnkarkat, aradiasollux, jakejane, and ofc kanrosedave 8) that really is only like a small percentage of ships that i have also wow do a lot of my ships sink,,,

welp the only thing i really know how to do is art, so!!! /sob
i would be totally game to learn another skill though

during weekdays i have school for a few weeks still so ill only be able to get on earliest 5:00 pm+???
weekends ill be on during the afternoon too really late like around 2 am it really just depends
im usually on pretty often though but then again my dad really does not approve of my using the computer for more than two hours at a time

is neopets a fandom??? um, i'm big into madoka magica, adventure time, my little pony: friendship is magic, and other webcomics but i don't really consider myself part of the fandom and back in the embarrassing days i guess kingdom hearts and glee fandom.

everyone is my favorite??? rose is probably my fav kid and i particularly love kanaya, karkat, aradia, sollux, and terezi (WOW WAY TO NAME ALMOST HALF OF THEM YOU INDECISIVE DINGUS) shiPPING?? well i mean we all ship rosemary and thyme or i hope we do, but i'll ship about anything as long as the argument for it is sound and not out of character or shipped too grossly heretonormative (strong protective dude, plucky weaker girl who clings on his arm, i steer clear of john/vriska and dave/jade for these reasons SORRY IF YOU SHIP THOSE IM PUTTING MY FOOT IN MY MOUTH ARENT I???). i'm particularly fond of john/karkat (and john/karkat/jade), meowrails, dave/terezi, jane/roxy im stopping before this gets too long

um um um i draw i guess???? that would be a skill but i'm also a big multimedia junkie and so i'm really interested in what sort of collaborations and ideas we can pull off as a group. i'm big into video editing and have been looking for an excuse to reacquaint myself with flash. i'm also a stop-motion fanatic and have plenty of experience with that. i'm a computer science major and so i'm starting to learn my way around coding and have made simple games before.

Date: 2012-05-18 02:24 am (UTC)I had a friend who was really into homestuck and would always try pitching it to me but it wasn't until i saw one of my favorite artists did a fanart spam of it that i really tried to stick with it! And it worked, and now i'm homestuck.
2. How long have you been in the fandom?
aaaahhhh i want to say maybe two years?? When i caught up the latest update was when equius and aradia smooched and it stayed like that for a whole week because there was a hiatus.
3.what other fandoms are you/have you been in?
This is probably the first fandom where i've actually been pretty involved! But i guess if you..really want me to say, hetalia...was something i did for a bit...i guess....sighs...
4. who is your favorite homestuck character(s)? favorite ships?
aaaaaaAAAAH I love everyone in homestuck!! My favorite kid has to be Rose and my favorite troll is Kanaya?? And Rosemary is one of my top ships along with Rosemary and Thyme of course! I actually have a butt ton of ships man i can't even compile a list it would be ridic long, but i guess i really like the strider/lalondes dynamics? both alpha and beta striderlalondes are always fun to ship.. Lately i'm having more fun shipping ot3's and figuring out moiraillegiance, so DaveRoseTerezi is pretty cool and Davesprite<>Dave is also nice! I'm gonna stop myself for now but I REALLY LIKE SHIPPING LADIES TOGETHER H E H.

I mostly do art! I do have an art tag on my tumblr but aah i havent been able to work on personal drawings lately so its mostly just bondage stuff (U u//T//u U;;) I may want to try my hand at writing but for the most part i would rather focus on art for the rounds..

1.) I got into Homestuck more or less to spite my friend, but ended up in love with it.
2.) Only a couple of months.
3.) In recent years, I've really only been active in the Katekyo Hitman Reborn community.
4.) My favorite homestuck character is probably Dave... Or Gamzee. And I can't even get started on ships.
5.) I'm hoping to bring a little writing, and maybe some playlists to the table. I can't draw to save my life, so...
6.) I have works that I'm proud of, but are completely irrelevant.

Strangely enough a couple years ago, I saw it as a suggestion for webcomics to read on this message board. It was pretty early on in Homestuck, at the time, but I had forgotten about it for a while, then I picked it up again in act 5 and I've been caught up since.

About a year? I'm not really sure, actually.
what other fandoms are you/have you been in?
I've been in Hetalia, and even though I'm not that into it now, I'm still in the fandom, because of some of my friends.
who is your favorite homestuck character(s)? favorite ships?
God I love everyone. But if I had to pick favourites, probably Rose, Kanaya, Dave, and Dirk.
I am a huge huge huge multi shipper but I guess my top 5 would be: Rose/Kanaya, Dave/Dirk, Rose/Dave, and Squarewave/Sawtooth.

Well, I think I'll be primarily writing, both prose and poetry. I do art of all forms though including things like music and interpretive dance so, I might do some other things as well.

in the fandom? until i caught up, which was six months ago maybe a little longer? i wasn't really aware of how vast and amazing the fandom is until i got tumblr,

hmmm... there's a lot of other fandoms i am/have been semi involved in, homestuck is the main one, but others are stuff like Sherlock, Adventure Time, Portal and TF2. I also like gurren lagann, fullmetal alchemist, regular show, MLP: FiM (god i love animation) and probably some other stuff i can't remember? u///u

my favourite characters are the strider-lalondes. forever and always. particularly roxy and dave. i love the kids, they are my absolute faves, and i love the trolls too! i kind of love everyone. vriska is my favourite troll but i also like aradia and sollux and karkat and kanaya and feferi and oh god that's like everyone isn't it,,,
i also... ship everything... my favourite pairings are rose/jade, rose/dave, and vriska/feferi! i ship a lot of other things though. particularly f/f pairings! they are way under appreciated uwu aradia/vriska/fef and rosemary and thyme are my ot3s.
